CycleLife USA Travel

Join CycleLife USA for our fully-supported training weekends in the hills of Grant County, West Virginia.  Food, lodging, and ride support are all included; riders just need to bring their bikes and their love of good rides - CycleLife will provide the rest.

Small group sizes (5-8 riders) combined with riding tips and techniques from members of the REVEL Racing cycling team will make this an experience to remember.

Three training camp formats will be offered throughout the season, to meet the differing training focus of all riders, including a triathlete-specific camp that will include running and swimming in addition to cycling.

Meet the Team

Michael Esmonde

Michael "Frannie" Esmonde likes working and helping people on "any bike that people ride" and getting people "what they need, and not what I want". Mike has worked in the bike industry since 1999 cutting his teeth as a shop rat in Orlando Florida. Getting into the racing scene and becoming a manager in the business firmly planted his roots in cycling for the long term. Since 2005 when he moved to D.C., Esmonde has commuted to work by bike every day – rain, snow, ice, sleet, hail or shine.

He's raced road, MTB, and 'cross, earning 3 top 5's in CAT1/2/3 in 2011, finishing 2nd place overall at the 2011 Clarendon Cup and winning the single speed class at DCCX in 2011. Mike leads several rides throughout the week from the shop, coaching new and seasoned riders during the rides, so don't be afraid to ask him questions.

As the Customer Relations and Travel director, Mike is always open to suggestions and feedback. Join Mike on his weekly rides and for the 40/50+ crowd there are Summer Travel weekends to West Virginia starting in 2011. He also makes home made beer and loves to work on his house and yard in N.E. Washington. Mike is a new father to Izabella born in June 2010 and Bayden in December 2011.
