Josh Frick
I'm a confirmed enthusiast. “Vacations” look suspiciously like exotic training camps. Bike gear, tools, and the odd wetsuit litter my basement. I've lived in some great places (Italy and Maui!) and won several National Championships. Lately, my wife and two kids tolerate my growing triathlon problem.
By some measures, I'm also qualified to fit you to your bike: My undergraduate degree (Kinesiology) included coursework in biomechanics, anatomy, exercise physiology, motor learning, and injury pathology/prevention. I made the pilgrimage out to Empfield to learn FIST protocols. I also hold advanced certifications from SBCU and Serotta. I'm spun up on RETUL. Yeah, whatever, you just want your knee to stop hurting, right?
"Bike Fitter” suits me-- Everyday, I get to meet someone new and improve their cycling experience. It's fantastic that learning your story is a critical part of my job. How is your bike treating you?
Gonzalo Escobar
At 25, Gonzalo Escobar has already logged close to a decade in the industry wrenching, fitting, and selling. Between commuting to CycleLife, racing on the road, racing cyclocross, and mountain biking, Gonzalo is on his bike year round. Suffice to say, Gonzalo has logged some serious chamois time. On his recovery days, he enjoys watching the Big Lebowski (again), kicking back with a pint glass of Recoverite, and reading French literature. Gonzalo recently traveled to Morgan Hill, CA and is a BG Matster Fit Technician.
